The reason the bestias coul d not take us the distance.
Just walking over this landslide was pretty dodgy.
The falls measure 517 meters from the pool below to the first rim. The upper falls measure 259 meters. Supposedly, this is the 5th longest falls in the world and only recently has it been measured and has become somewhat of a tourist attraction. We met about 10 other people on the trail as we left. We had them to ourselves for our entire stay at the falls.
